Phase 1: Add EasyAccess Consent

Outcome: You’re enabling users to enroll in Personal Privacy Networks.

Note: Phase 1 establishes authorization only. Personal Privacy Networks are not created, and no network participation occurs, until Phase 2.

What You Need

  • An existing consent management flow (you already have this)
  • The ability to update your Privacy Statement and Terms of Service

That’s it. No infrastructure. No new services.

To enable Phase 1, add EasyAccess consent language to your existing Privacy Statement and Terms of Service so that user opt-ins may be interpreted as user-directed authorization.

The authoritative legal language and compliance rationale are documented here:

EasyAccess Consent – Legal & Compliance

That’s It — You’re Done

Store consent as you do today—just include the EasyAccess language in what the user accepted.

No new data capture. No new storage. No code changes.

What You’ve Achieved

  • You’re enabling users to enroll in Personal Privacy Networks
  • Consent records remain in your existing systems
  • You’re ready for Phase 2 whenever you choose

Next Step

When you’re ready to publish captured consents to the Privacy Network:

Phase 2: Publish to Privacy Network
